Cleanfloc SulphAWAY 13 - Elimination of sulphate

Cleanfloc SulphAWAY 13 is a special aluminium-containing product which due to the additives is able to remove sulphates rapidly.

Elimination of lead and sulphate

The picture shows the combined elimination of lead and sulphate from the waste-water of a battery-manufacturer with Cleanfloc sulphAWAY 13 followed by the flocculation with an anionic polymer.

Measuring the turbidity with a photometer

By the precipitation with BaCl₂ as BaSO₄ the sulphate-content in water can be determined by measuring the turbidity with a photometer.
(Ba²⁺ + SO₄ ^2- > BaSO₄ ↓)
